Our second week brought us to the peaceful setting of Moody Bluff, where the focus shifted to what matters most—friends and family.
Thursday, 4 September 2025: We arrived from Carolina Landing in Fair Play, SC, to rain and wind and much colder than what we left! Set up and hunkered down for the night.
Friday, 5 September 2025:
We welcomed Wesley and his family for a relaxed afternoon cookout, with the kids making the most of the playground. Beth’s mom and Annaston also joined us, which made the day even more special. It was one of those easygoing afternoons.
Monday gave Beth a chance to catch up with The Limestone Ladies Group for a refreshing walk followed by lunch.
Tuesday was a quieter day. After a visit with Beth’s mom, we tried out Tulips Grub and Pub for lunch. The place had a fun vibe, and the food didn’t disappoint
Wednesday was a travel day and we headed back to our home base in Lenoir.
