One of the first places we saved on our map for this trip was Vinny’s Italian Grill and Pizzeria. It certainly did not disappoint.
For starters, we ordered bruschetta. When the plate arrived, it was impressive. Plump cuts of tomato, large leafy basil, fresh pressed garlic, and a ricotta cheese spread on garlic style toast. All drizzled with honey. Every bite was full of each flavor. This could have simply been the meal.
We followed that with a fresh salad with standard toppings. Another great dish.
Then came our meals (not that we still needed them but we do like Italian). Beth had the spaghetti and meatballs, and I had Chicken Alfredo. We like what we like, and at each place, they all have their own style. Of course we also got bread. Two varieties, rolls and garlic toast.
Great place. We would highly recommend it when you are in Lynchburg.
